In an attempt to spend some much needed quality time together Eddie and I go out to dinner in City Island. Now we didn’t want to do the same ol’ same ol’ thing(Johnny’s) that we do every time we eat in City Island, so we decide to try a fairly new place Artie’s. We have great conversations, laughs and good food. Eddie has the Captain’s Plate: clams, shrimp and scallops broiled in a tomato sauce. I had the Chardonnay Pouched Salmon with roasted tomatoes and mussels. Our dinner was amazing to say the least but as we eat, we over hear from the next table two incredible words that when joined together becomes an unbelievable idea. Its what made our hearts flutter, our mouths water, and our eyes tear. For desert we had……. wait for it……(Sigh)

FRIED BANANA CARAMEL CHESSECAKE (image above)

It was incredible!!! warm banana cheesecake filling surrounding by a blanket of crispy pastry dough, bathed in caramel, powder sugar and cinnamon.

Now to hit the gym LOL……AA
